completion of 30 credits; a Diploma in Undergraduate Studies requires
the successful completion of 60 credits.

Diploma Program Description (60 credits)
While Certificate & Diploma Program students may apply
for a degree program at Rivendell College*, it is anticipated that most
will complete their degree elsewhere. Thus, the program is designed to
be a transitional experience for students who will go on to schools
such as the University of Colorado, Colorado State University and the
University of Northern Colorado. Academic advisors will help
Certificate & Diploma program students craft a course of study with
their interests and needs in mind.
Housing in Rivendell facilities is recommended for Certificate &
Diploma Program students, requires a separate application, and is
offered on a space-available basis. For additional fees, Certificate
& Diploma Program students may enroll in co-curricular and
extra-curricular events and activities normally only offered to degree
students.
Certificate and Diploma students do not have a community living requirement and there is no leadership assessment requirement.
* Admission to the the Certificate or Diploma Program does not guarantee admission to a
degree program at Rivendell College. Although courses may meet requirements for a Rivendell
degree, credits earned in either program do not count towards fulfilling a residency requirements.
