Applications for the 2008-09 school year are welcome!

Undergraduate Degree Students

All applicants for an undergraduate degree must have a high school diploma, G.E.D. or the equivalent. All full-time degree students are required to live in Rivendell residential facilities, unless given written exemption. Degree students must read and agree to the Honor Code, the Rivendell Covenants (lifestyle, residential, classroom, reconciliation) and Statement of Faith.

To apply for admission to Rivendell as an undergraduate degree student, complete and submit the Application Form found on the Applications page (Admissions) of this website.

Application Checklist:

  • Complete the application form and submit it along with a $30 nonrefundable application fee.
  • Submit an official (sealed) high school transcript, or proof of a GED, or equivalent. Homeschool students should submit a transcript from a homeschooling guild or association.
  • Submit official transcript of any college classes that have been taken.
  • Submit standardized test results for the SAT or ACT.
  • Submit a Personal Profile essay.
  • Foreign students may be required to take the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) to show proficiency in the English language, provide confirmation of financial resources, and a valid passport.
  • A personal interview is highly recommended.
