THE CERTIFICATE PROGRAM: The
Certificate Program is a one-year lower division college curriculum for
high school graduates who plan to attend a four-year public university,
but would like to begin by learning from Christian professors who
engage the academy in dialogue and debate from the perspective of a
Christian worldview. The Certificate Program is a 30-semester credit
program, comprised of courses in Christian Studies and a variety of
courses designed to meet general education requirements for a
bachelor’s degree. Upon the successful completion of 30 semester
credits and the core courses (listed below), students will receive a
Certificate in Undergraduate Studies.
Certificate Program Core Courses:

RLST 2200 or 3200 The Religion and Literature of Ancient Israel (3)

RLST 2300 or 3300 The New Testament and Christian Origins (3)

RLST 2500 or 3500 The Christian Tradition (3)
and one of the following:

PHIL 1010 Introduction to Philosophy (3)

PHIL 1020 Introduction to Ethics (3)

PHIL 1030 Introduction to Philosophy of Religion (3)

RLST 1000 Introduction to Worldviews (3)
