MATH 1000 Math for the Liberal Arts (3)
A course designed for non-mathematics majors. Teaches basic mathematics, logic, and problem-solving skills in the context of higher level mathematics, science, technology, and society.
MATH 1010 College Algebra (4)
A study of pre-calculus mathematics, including real numbers, inequalities, systems of equations, complex numbers, polynomial and rational functions, sequences, mathematical induction and binomial theorem.
MATH 1700 Trigonometry (3)
A study of trigonometric functions, angles, laws of sines, cosines, tangents and graphs of numerical calculations.
MATH 2010, 2020 Calculus 1 (5, 5)
Functions, graphs, limits, differentiation, integration, sequences, series. Introduction to numerical methods. Prerequisite for MATH 2010: Admissions math requirement. Prerequisite for MATH 2020: MATH 2010 or equivalent.
